About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services at Fraser Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care for patients recovering from anaesthetics in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU)
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide person-centered care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, and interventions according to practice standards
  • Participate in research and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • One year's recent relevant clinical nursing experience in the designated clinical area
