About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at On Side Restoration Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in restoring damaged properties to their former glory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets with precision and attention to detail
  • Tear out old or damaged drywall to prepare surfaces for new installations
  • Site preparation and protection to ensure a safe working environment
  • Remove old coatings using various methods, including solvents, heat, sanding, wire brushing, or water and abrasive blasting
  • Apply undercoat primers or sealers before painting, or apply sizing before wallpapering
  • Match specified colours using premixed paints or mixing colour and thinning and drying additives
  • Apply liquid coatings such as paint, stain, or varnish to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
Requirements
  • Experience working in construction environments with tools and skills to use them
  • Attention to detail, passion for quality, and pride in work
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Drywall Finisher and Plasterer ticket (an asset)
