About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Contract Administrator to join our team at WSP in Canada. As an integral member of our Buildings Mechanical & Electrical Engineering division, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and supporting contractual obligations on construction projects;
  • Liaising with contractors, clients, design teams, and other stakeholders;
  • Maintaining responsibility for contract administration deliverables;
  • Negotiating various contractual matters including price agreements;
  • Attending construction meetings and conducting site reviews;
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A CET, C. Tech designation, Electrical Engineering or Electrical Journeyman experience;
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Buildings infrastructure construction;
  • A proven aptitude for estimating construction schedules and costs;
  • Experience with progress payments and change orders;
  • Good knowledge of construction best practices;
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
  • An ability to establish effective working relationships;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • An ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good initiative and attention to detail;
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel;
  • A valid Alberta driver license with an acceptable driving record;
