Job Summary

The Summer Engineering Intern will be responsible for collecting asset data, working with subcontractors, and assisting with cost control of various projects and road maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culvert Inspections and Quality Control of Line Painting
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping
  • Collaboration with Subcontractors and Project Teams
  • Assisting with Cost Control and Project Management
  • Other duties as assigned by the project team

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and currently enrolled in an Engineering program or equivalent
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as required
  • Knowledge of road construction and maintenance methods is an asset

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to reach, bend, squat, climb, stand, and sit
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in noisy or fast-paced environments
