Job Description

The Geomatics Engineering Intern will support our Mobile Mapping team in system tests, integrations, and the enhancement of our mapping technologies.

This role provides practical experience in a dynamic environment, working closely with our product management and development teams to advance geospatial data collection techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and integrate mobile mapping solutions.
  • Support the troubleshooting and improvement of system performance through data analysis and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Contribute to data collection and processing activities, enhancing our geospatial data sets.
  • Develop operational documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Participate in research activities to explore new technologies in geospatial data acquisition, staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year Engineering program, with a focus on Geomatics, Surveying, Mapping, GNSS, or GIS.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data collection technologies and their applications.
  • Interest in mobile mapping systems and software, with a desire to contribute to their advancement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation: This position offers an estimated annual salary range of $65,000-$85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
