Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced operators in the safe and efficient operation of Wirtgen cold milling equipment.
  • Manage crews, order materials, supplies, and trucking to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement effective asphalt milling procedures for highway and small-town projects.
  • Make sound decisions in fast-paced, complex environments, prioritizing safety and productivity.
  • Work long hours, including day and night shifts, and be prepared for out-of-town assignments.
  • Ensure crews adhere to safety protocols, complete daily safety meetings, inspections, and permits.
  • Meet physical demands of the role, including repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and walking.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience operating Wirtgen cold milling equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing crews and making strategic decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt milling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a medical/fitness exam.
