Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experienced operators in the safe and efficient operation of Wirtgen cold milling equipment.
- Manage crews, order materials, supplies, and trucking to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and implement effective asphalt milling procedures for highway and small-town projects.
- Make sound decisions in fast-paced, complex environments, prioritizing safety and productivity.
- Work long hours, including day and night shifts, and be prepared for out-of-town assignments.
- Ensure crews adhere to safety protocols, complete daily safety meetings, inspections, and permits.
- Meet physical demands of the role, including repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and walking.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience operating Wirtgen cold milling equipment.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing crews and making strategic decisions.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt milling procedures and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a medical/fitness exam.
