Job Title: Expert IT Infrastructure Specialist

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Specialized Computer Technician to join our team as an Expert IT Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the software and hardware configuration, optimization, and security of our information systems, technological infrastructures, and telecommunications networks.

You will perform various tasks related to databases and oversee the implementation, proper functioning, and development of complex technological components with a local, regional, or provincial scope. As an expert in your field, you will support IT technicians in solving problems of high complexity or specialization. You will also develop implementation plans for technological projects and coordinate the work of IT technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the software and hardware configuration, optimization, and security of our information systems, technological infrastructures, and telecommunications networks.
  • Perform various tasks related to databases.
  • Oversee the implementation, proper functioning, and development of complex technological components.
  • Support IT technicians in solving problems of high complexity or specialization.
  • Develop implementation plans for technological projects and coordinate the work of IT technicians.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A diploma of college studies with specialization in Computer Science from a school recognized by the ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, or a relevant attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by competent authorities.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in your field of specialization.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to learn software applications with minimal instruction.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in Cree and/or French is an asset.
