Senior Cloud Migration Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to help us in major cloud migration for clients in different industries such as banking or insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client business needs and technical requirements, propose solutions and provide estimates;
  • Provide technical expertise in the development of cloud architectures, in the definition of technology strategies and technical decisions;
  • Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders;
  • Communicate with project managers and technical stakeholders during the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions;
  • Work closely with the IT security team;
  • Provide necessary support to professional services teams during the delivery of proposed solutions.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience as a cloud architect;
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT;
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP cloud platform;
  • Experience with Broadcom VMware;
  • Practical knowledge of the 7Rs of cloud migration;
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices;
  • AWS Solution Architect Certification;
  • Insurance or banking sector experience are an asset;
  • The role is remote, but you have the possibility to work from one of our office.
