About the Role

CMLS Financial is seeking a skilled Commercial Lending Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for analyzing credit applications and submissions, providing risk assessments, and making recommendations for commercial mortgages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence and investigation to assess borrower risk and creditworthiness
  • Analyze financial data and credit information to inform underwriting decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate underwriting
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and commercial mortgage industry developments
  • Perform other duties as required to support the underwriting team

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in commercial real estate risk or a related field
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
