Project Overview
Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management in the Life Safety industry and a strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and change order pricing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate large project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Dissect project schedules to determine key dates for installation and extrapolate internal key dates for design procurement and fabrication.
- Assess on-site labour productivity against monthly billing cycles and provide direct technical and application support as required.
- Produce accurate and concise details on engineered systems and provide assistance to customers as a liaison between contractors, sales, and site personnel.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and track and report project status, including milestones, deliverables, and budget to senior management.
Qualifications
- PMP certification would be an asset.
- CFAA or Journeyman Electrician certification would be preferred.
- Experience in project management in the Life Safety industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Previous Project Manager experience on large contracts required.
