About the Role

The Inside Sales Account Specialist - Utilities is a key position within the Distribution & Usages business group at Nexans. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and order processing of utility accounts while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain critical business relationships with utility customers and identify new business opportunities.
  2. Respond to customer needs and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  3. Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to drive sales growth by leveraging market and customer insights.
  4. Process normal product returns through the customer complaint reporting process.
  5. Share competitive information, market trends, and customer product demands with relevant staff and management.
  6. Highlight quotation opportunities to management and the outside sales team.
  7. Utilize strong relationship-building skills to source and develop opportunities and close sales.
  8. Employ excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  9. Exhibit a client-focused, responsive, service-oriented, persuasive, and flexible approach.

Requirements

  1. 2-3 years of experience in an inside sales function, preferably in the electrical industry.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
