Accounts Payable Specialist

At Kaizen Lab Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing incoming invoices and ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient payment management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices received from suppliers;
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy;
  • Investigate discrepancies with the purchasing department and resolve issues;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supporting documents;
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance process efficiency and accuracy;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely payments to suppliers;
  • Comply with health and safety policies and regulations;
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the team.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or professional studies in accounting;
  • At least two years of relevant experience;
  • Bilingual (French and English) to interact with the Toronto team and English-speaking suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay process control principles;
  • Experience with integrated ERP software, such as SAP S/4;
  • Experience with MS Dynamics GP and Guide-TI is an asset.
