About the Role
  • This position involves working with various mechanical systems, components, and materials to identify areas for improvement and implement design changes.
  • You will be responsible for preparing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, as well as estimating costs and materials required for project execution.
  • In addition, you will prepare contracts and tenders, supervise maintenance programs, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out a range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement design changes to optimize mechanical systems and improve efficiency.
  3. Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Estimate costs and materials required for project execution, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  5. Prepare contracts and tenders to secure business opportunities and manage relationships with clients and suppliers.
  6. Supervise maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical plants and facilities.
  7. Inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
