About the Role- This position involves working with various mechanical systems, components, and materials to identify areas for improvement and implement design changes.
- You will be responsible for preparing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, as well as estimating costs and materials required for project execution.
- In addition, you will prepare contracts and tenders, supervise maintenance programs, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
- Carry out a range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement design changes to optimize mechanical systems and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Estimate costs and materials required for project execution, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare contracts and tenders to secure business opportunities and manage relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Supervise maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical plants and facilities.
- Inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
