Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Assistant will assist in the preparation of meals, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and support the culinary team in providing excellent service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including meal planning, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the culinary team in providing excellent service to patients, including meal service and food delivery.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless meal service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of commercial kitchen experience.
  • Certified Food Handler certificate required.
  • Knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
