About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Horang Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Assist with sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
