Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Director of Software Quality Engineering to lead our global software quality assurance engineering team and certification team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve the QA processes.
- Oversee all aspects of QA, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure rigorous testing of software products to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
- Implement and maintain QA metrics to monitor and improve the quality of software products.
- Champion Agile practices within the QA team and across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes in the Agile workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading QA teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Proven transformational leadership skills, with expertise in creating a design for quality culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a highly complex environment.
- Self-motivated, driven personality to institute change.
