About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Driver to join our team at ComForCare Home Care. As a Companion Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport clients to and from appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
  • Collect medication from pharmacies and deliver it to clients' homes in a timely manner.
  • Provide companionship and support to clients, engaging in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
  • Dependable and self-directed, with minimal supervision required.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of accessible routes.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or in a similar caregiving role.
