We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Mettler Toledo. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry-related products, performing calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, and resolving first-line customer service issues. You will also have the opportunity to lead efforts to modernize, upgrade, and convert customer existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group
  • Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance duties as required
  • Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that PM work at assigned accounts are completed on time
  • Complete system configuration and testing prior to delivery
  • Provide technical solutions consultant and application support to the customer and the sales force
  • Responsible for resolving first-line customer complaints and invoicing problems
  • Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year college diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or Computer Science and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting, or technical installation in the industrial electronics technology marketplace is required
  • The ability to lift, transport, and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments)
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
