Co-op Human Resources Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Human Resources student to join our Client Services Team at Nova Scotia Power.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of job descriptions and HR reporting
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to committee facilitation
  • Administer and document policies and programs
  • Manage employee relationships and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education studying Human Resources or Business
  • Experience with SharePoint is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in an HR environment is considered an asset
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required
