Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our products.
- Schedule Distribution of Goods: Coordinate with our suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match our orders.
- Maintain Internal Record-Keeping System: Accurately record and maintain all shipping and receiving activities.
- Record Shortages and Reject Damaged Goods: Identify and document any shortages or damaged goods.
- Route Goods to Appropriate Storage Areas: Ensure that goods are stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Pack Goods to be Shipped: Accurately pack goods for shipment.
- Oversee Loading and Unloading of Goods: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
- Supervise Material Handlers and Helpers: Provide guidance and oversight to our material handlers and helpers.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
