Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the receipt and processing of incoming shipments, including inspecting goods for damage and verifying inventory against delivery documents.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements and identifying discrepancies.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Schedule and coordinate the transportation of goods to and from our facilities, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including bills of lading, invoices, and other relevant documents.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the supply chain.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field an asset.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a warehouse environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment.
