Job Description

This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer services, including orders management, distribution, operations meetings, and inquiry management.

The Head of Operations/Associate Director will work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure billing accuracy and develop demand and supply planning processes. This role also involves effective strategic tenders' management, including tolling business, in collaboration with finance, market access, marketing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and international tender and tolling strategy & operations teams.

As the main interface with Canadian Blood Services and Hema-Quebec management, this individual will collaborate with CSL Behring's General manager and Head of Finance to achieve shared goals.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Executive Operations Director will act as a back-up to Customer Service, Manager of Fractionation Services and Distributor/Warehouse, and support other team members as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with Canadian Blood Services and Hema-Quebec
  • Ensure accurate demand planning forecast and supply plan
  • Lead strategic tenders' management process inclusive of toll business
  • Oversee distribution of CSL Behring products
  • Backup for Customer Service Specialist and Manager of Fractionation Services and Distributor/Warehouse

This position requires a strong background in business or logistics/supply chain management, with at least 10 years of experience working in a fast-paced commercial operations environment. Knowledge of relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements is essential, and management experience is an asset.
