Chief Sales Strategist for National Distribution

Established in 1900, Trenton Cold Storage is a renowned provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services with strategic hubs in Trenton, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and soon-to-be Moncton.
About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to drive sales growth through new business opportunities and maximize revenue with existing customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to increase revenue and profits.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of driving sales processes from planning to closing. Extensive experience in warehousing, food, and logistics industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning to identifying opportunities, cold calling to closing contracts, ensuring profitable revenue growth for Trenton Cold Storage.
- Create a strategic sales plan, extending the company's customer base and regional reach; implement the sales plan to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for specific markets and customized service offerings, driving revenue generation and expanding the company's customer base.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge, staying updated on market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities, while fostering relationships with top customers and troubleshooting issues as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven ability to drive sales processes from planning to closing.
- Extensive experience in warehousing, food, and logistics industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in using Sales CRM.
- Language proficiency in English; French is an asset.
We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 - $110,000 CAD annually, commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, plus additional bonus earnings.
