Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Join Green Infrastructure Partners as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist and play a key role in shaping the company's procurement strategy. As a member of the Strategic Sourcing team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Business Needs: Collect, analyze, and define business needs to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Sourcing and Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies that meet business and organizational needs.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and supplier performance conditions to satisfy financial, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, capture, and establish communication channels with potential suppliers.
  • RFP/RFQ Process: Prepare and coordinate RFP/RFQ processes and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
  • Contract Evaluation and Award: Analyze contract proposals, lead the formulation of strategy, and negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions to satisfy requirements for complex and specialized materials, equipment, components, and services.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in challenging roles in sourcing and procurement.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in procurement, project management, or a relevant logistics role.
  • Certifications: Procurement certifications are considered an asset.
  • Skills: Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment. Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-starter who is willing to work on their own initiative and goal-focused. Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives. Superb communication and interpersonal and presentation skills.
