About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at SPICE & GRILL PIZZA & INDIAN CUISINE LTD. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's unique blend of pizza and Indian cuisine, ensuring that dishes are creative, delicious, and visually appealing.

Chef Supervision

Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.

Kitchen Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including scheduling, staff management, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Quality Control

Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste, and that customer feedback is acted upon promptly.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, staff management, and kitchen operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Excellent culinary skills, with a strong understanding of menu planning, food safety, and kitchen operations.

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail.
