Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Lachi Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruitment: Assist in recruiting and hiring new staff members as needed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
