We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Earls Penticton. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition ingredients and supplies.
- Culinary Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Restaurant, urban area, and bar settings.
