Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painting Contractor to join our team at IG Painting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects, supervising workers, and ensuring the highest quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate painting projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of painters and decorators.
  • Estimate costs, materials, and labor requirements for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commercial, residential, restoration, and shopwork environment. You will be working outdoors and will be required to supervise a team of 5-10 people.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
