Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Darlene's Home Support Services Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
