Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Worker to join our team at Grand River Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established procedures to ensure a safe working environment, aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
  • Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
  • Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
  • Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
  • Ensure security of company assets.
Requirements
  • Previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients, and co-workers.
  • Adaptable to guests' needs.
