Senior Business Systems Analyst for Wholesale Liquidity

We're seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to join our Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects and contribute to the bank's Liquidity reporting direction.
About the RoleThis senior-level position will involve providing expert advice, research, analysis, and design of test plans related to Liquidity projects. As a liaison between business and technology teams, you'll be responsible for communicating effectively to drive results and build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Transform business requirements and research into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.
- Participate in complex applications and systems development.
- Propose solution options; generate stakeholder support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project estimates.
- Produce top-notch functional, technical, and user interface designs.
- Take business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance, and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical, user interface designs, and test plans for an application and/or system.
- Coordinate testing and release planning and support with partners.
- Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation measures.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in Business Analysis principles and project lifecycles.
- Advanced knowledge of tools like Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence.
- Solid understanding of Liquidity reporting regulations.
- Experience operating as a Business Systems Analyst on Liquidity projects.
- Strong communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Talent in identifying risks within and across projects and recommending ways to mitigate them.
