About the Role

Montrose Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Workflow Management

You will assist with scheduling and workflow management, ensuring that our pharmacy runs efficiently and effectively.

Third-Party Billing

You will be responsible for billing third-party insurers, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need.

Inventory Management

You will maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products, ensuring that our pharmacy is well-stocked and compliant with regulations.

Patient Data Management

You will record and process patient data, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Pharmaceutical Product Preparation

You will compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standards.

Requirements
  • Education

You will have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.

Experience

You will have the ability to train and learn quickly, with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Language

You will be fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

You will work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our pharmacy.
