About the Role

MONTROSE PHARMACY is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Workflow Management: Assist in scheduling and workflow management to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for patient services.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
  • Patient Data Management: Record and process patient data with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Compounding and Packaging: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to train and develop skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the pharmacy.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
