About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in the Orillia, ON area. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering quality healthcare services to our patients, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, household tasks, respite care, and medication assistance.
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, transfer techniques, and home safety.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients, helping them maintain their dignity and autonomy.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to special diets and care plans.

Requirements

  • A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
  • A strong desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle.
