Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Services Associate. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and investment advisors, ensuring seamless execution of financial transactions and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute investment trades and portfolio management as coordinated by investment advisors
  • Provide trade surveillance and ensure accuracy of portfolio holdings relative to the investment policy statement
  • Work with investment advisors to develop investment models and portfolio rebalancing
  • Coordinate position maintenance, book cost accuracy, and execution of corporate reorganizations
  • Monitor fixed income maturities for reinvestment
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details
Requirements
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • High-quality time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
