Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for gathering information regarding assets in accounts and ensuring that the cost and market values of investments reconcile to the custodian, the investment manager, and then imputing the results into the financial statement.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather information regarding income summaries and investment summaries and investigate any unusual source of income, then input the results into the financial statements.

Prepare routine payment memos, issue memos, and follow up on payment.

Monitor daily account balances and provide any offside report to the Director of Accounting.

Provide backup to the Trust Accounting Associate and Director of Accounting.

Transfer of funds and reporting of trust accounts.

Requirements:

3-5 years of accounting experience is an asset.

BA in Accounting or similar degree preferred.

Trust or investment accounting experience is valuable.

ERP system experience.

High volume reconciliation experience.
