About the Role

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in the Energy & Resources business sector. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for hydropower and dam projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create preliminary and detailed structural designs for hydraulic structures and hydroelectric facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Engineering and Rehabilitation: Conduct engineering for the rehabilitation of hydraulic structures and hydroelectric facilities, including feasibility studies and stability analyses.
  • Project Management: Oversee project costs and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and optimal quality.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure multidisciplinary technical coordination and project management.
  • Team Leadership: Support and direct less experienced engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree in Civil Engineering, with civil/structural engineering experience in the hydropower/hydroelectric and dam sector.
  • Experience: More than five (5) years of experience in structural design, primarily with concrete and steel structures.
  • Skills: Autonomy, sense of initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Language: Fluency in oral and written French, with proficiency in oral and written English in a professional context.
