Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Ideal Logistic Group. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, and adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Diesel engine repair specialization
  • Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
