Job Overview

At Atomic Cartoons, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in securities law to join our Legal and Business Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Legal and Business Affairs team with production and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft corporate filings, including continuous disclosure documents, and prepare filings via SEDAR+ and SEDI.
  • Manage the distribution database, track distribution and sales agreements, and assist with scheduling meetings and tracking important deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Securities Paralegal, preferably with prior experience filing via SEDAR+ and SEDI.
  • A Paralegal diploma from a recognized institution and familiarity with GSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing and interpreting contracts, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently in a hybrid work setting.
Benefits:

This is a hybrid role, with remote work options available 3 days a week. The remaining 2 days will be spent working at our Vancouver offices in Mt Pleasant. We offer competitive pay, company-sponsored benefits, including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, paid holiday break, paid leave, and various discounts and perks.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 CAD, based on a weekly rate.
