Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our kitchen team at Dojo Ramen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu standards and quality control procedures.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Accessibility: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Veteran Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
