Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus that showcase the diversity of ethnic cuisine, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Culinary Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of culinary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
