The successful Proposal Specialist will have strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and developing a detailed understanding of client proposal/bid requirements
- Creating templates for proposals, resumes, and project sheets
- Preparing, editing, and formatting proposal/bid sections, resumes, and project sheets
- Tracking and ensuring timely proposal/bid deliverables from internal and external partners
- Assisting with writing, formatting, and proofing/editing of proposals
- Gathering and coordinating flow of information from subject matter experts
Requirements
- Strong English language and technical writing skills
- Attention to detail, coupled with the ability to proofread and edit material, and identify errors and omissions
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant proposal development experience, preferably with BC infrastructure projects or a similar environment
