About the RoleThis is a permanent position offering 35-40 hours of work per week. We require a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in this field.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare engineering designs and drawings using your expertise and creativity.
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise other drafting personnel and provide guidance when needed.
- Train new drafting personnel to maintain our high standards.
- Develop and prepare design sketches that showcase your artistic skills.
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
- Prepare contracts and tenders that meet client expectations.
- Write technical reports that are clear and concise.
- Estimate costs and materials accurately to ensure project success.
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets on time.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors to maintain quality.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software is essential for this role.
- You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, so attention to detail is crucial.
- Excellent oral communication skills are required for this role.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with others.
Our company offers a competitive salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
