Job Summary:

The Press Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our printing press, ensuring that all production runs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of printing processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of printing machine operators and other staff members
  • Ensure that all production runs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Monitor and control the quality of printed products
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance management
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all production runs are completed on time
  • Provide technical and professional advice to staff members and management
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of printing processes and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
  • Dependability, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, and team player
Work Environment:

The Press Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
