We are seeking a skilled and organized Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Newpoint Insurance Services Inc.

About the Role

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of our office. This includes establishing work priorities, ensuring procedures are followed, and meeting deadlines. You will also be responsible for coordinating and planning office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they meet company standards
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including preparing operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, manuals, and correspondence as required
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring smooth operations
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a private sector setting
  • Degree equivalent or higher in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn new software and systems
