About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Installer to join our team at Alberta Custom Kitchens Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of kitchen cabinets and vanities in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the installation process.
  • Installation Planning: Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for each project, taking into account the specific requirements of the client and the location.
  • Documentation and Administration: Accurately document and prepare invoices and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient payment processing.
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment of cabinets and vanities.
  • Material Management: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring they are readily available for each installation.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation to and from job sites.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe access to installation areas.
  • Project Management: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate installation and project completion.
  • Area of Specialization: Focus on kitchen cabinets and vanities, developing expertise in this area to provide exceptional results.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling physically demanding tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 32-40 hour workweek, with occasional overtime required to meet project deadlines.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
  • Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a related field, with a focus on cabinet installation and customer service.
