Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve menu planning and production goals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant work experience in a restaurant setting
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high levels of performance
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
