Job Summary

The Physiotherapist is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient and inpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with neurological and orthopaedic diagnoses in the acute and rehabilitation phases of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Physiotherapy.
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • 1-3 years experience working with patients of various ages with neurological and orthopaedic diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications.
