Front Desk Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Best Wainwright Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Room Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
- Departure Process: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as needed.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, as well as assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in word processing software and Opera.
