Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Days Inn Wainwright. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking care to meet the needs of all guests.
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing the well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
